01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease it.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, eggs, oil, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
04 - Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients just until combined—do not overmix.
05 - Gently fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top if desired.
06 - Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full. Top with extra chocolate chips.
07 - Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
08 - Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
